Hundreds of cyclists rode into Barnstaple this afternoon after cycling all the way from Plymouth in the Devon Coast to Coast Challenge.

Rolling Up to the Finish Line in Barnstaple - Devon Coast to Coast Challenge 2010
301 riders, who came from all over the country to take part in the sponsored bike ride in aid of the North Devon Hospice, covered a total of 28,800 miles between them.
The finishing post was on the Strand in Barnstaple and riders were welcomed with music from a steel band and Buddy's Bar providing barbecue and beer. There were quite a few thirsty cyclists who were definitely appreciative of a cool pint!
