NICO FAASSEN was in fine form to beat Jordan Platt, of Launceston ABC, at the Mayflower Show in Plymouth. The Barnstaple boxer has been on the wrong end of some tough decisions this season and responded with a classy performance. Platt was strong and aggressive but Faassen soaked up pressure and picked jabs, at times drawing his opponent into a clinch and scoring on the break.
