Here's a little selection for you and as all wedding planners know the best way to start is with a dream ... then make your list:

1.  The Dress - Silk, Satin, Cotton, Rags goes the rhyme and there are plenty of options when it comes to wedding dresses in Barnstaple.  The Wedding Collection in Newport Street has a dress for any style of wedding.  Dresses to Impress in Cross Street has outfits for all members of the wedding party.  Frilly Frocks in Boutport Street also has a stunning range of beautiful dresses for your big day.

2.  The Venue - Church, Chapel, Cathedral, Abbey if yours will be a church wedding you probably already have a church in mind.  For civil weddings in Barnstaple we have some lovely places which are approved venues. 4.  Video -  There are also local videographers who will capture all the highlights of your wedding day in moving pictures.  Try Lighthouse Video Productions or R & L Digital Videos.

5.  Transport - Coach, Carriage, Wheelbarrow, Dungcart as the old rhyme goes.  For something modern with wheels that will get you to the church on time try Daphore and if you really would like a horse drawn carriage you can hire one from the National Trust's Arlington House.

6.  The Cake - Bee-Utiful Cakes in Barnstaple can supply your wedding cake, pretty and tasty cupcakes to your own tasty desires.  Lindsey's in Boutport Street will also supply a delicious, home made beautiful wedding cake to order.

7.  The Wedding List - Banbury's department store in Barnstaple has a wedding list service which is handy when you really do have enough tea sets and toasters already.  For quirky original gifts Youzo is a great place to go.
