Big breakfasts to raise big money

SCRUMPTIOUS sausages, freshly baked croissants or toast dripping with butter – however you like to start the day, North Devon Hospice is inviting you to banquet on your breakfast like a king. Drop into one of the Big Breakfast events listed below and while munching on muesli, tucking into a mouthful of toast or feasting on a full English, you’ll be raising money for North Devon Hospice.

Groups and businesses across North Devon are laying on a bountiful brekkie between Thursday, March 24 and Sunday, March 27. Everyone is invited to go along to one (or all if you can fit them in) of the brekkies to enjoy the fabulous food on offer, while making a donation to North Devon Hospice.

“This is a great event, because everyone loves a hearty start to the day, whether it’s a bowl of cereal or a full English,” said Gerard Fawcitt from the hospice’s fundraising team. “So there could be no easier way to support your local hospice than by going along to your local Big Breakfast. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome as well as some tasty tucker, but best of all you will be helping North Devon Hospice to provide our free care and support across the community.”

Instow Arms, Instow; Thursday, March 24, 10am to noon.

Saunton Golf Club; Friday, March 25, 9am to 12.30pm.

The Sportsman Inn, Sandyway; Saturday, March 26, 9am to noon.

Green House Restaurant, Lynton; Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27, 9am to 4pm.

Royal Marine, Combe Martin; Saturday, March 26, 7am to noon.

Molesworth Arms, Pyworthy; Friday, March 25, 8.30am to 2pm.

Grosvenor Church, Barnstaple; Saturday, March 26, 9am to 12.30pm.

The Bell, Chittlehampton; Saturday, March 26, 9am to noon.

Williams Arms, Braunton; Saturday, March 26, 8.30am to 11.30 am.

Court House, Chulmleigh; Saturday, March 26, 9am to 1pm.
