BT Infinity for Barnstaple
To be entered into the competition Barnstaple needs to have at least 1,000 households voting for BT Infinity in our area. The winners, five areas whose exchanges will be given the fast fibre optic broadband in 2012 are those with the highest percentage of votes. So, even a small town like Barnstaple, could be in the running but are we really bothered?
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the technology behind my web surfing. I actually couldn't even tell you how much I pay for my internet or what speed I currently have.
So, is anyone else that bothered? Is this just a publicity stunt for BT? I reckon if they have developed this super technology it's pretty likely that everyone's going to get it anyway at some point.
If you are bothered, and you want to tell me, and all the other useless technophobes out here, why we should vote for BT Infinity let us know.
