Barnstaple Police Seek Witnesses to Forches Attack

Police in Barnstaple are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the Town.

The assault occurred between 8.00pm and 8.15pm on Tuesday 8th

June, in Gould Road, Forches estate, Barnstaple, following an

altercation.

As a result a 47 year old man sustained cuts and swelling to his face.

The suspect is described as being a white man, aged in his

late teens, approximately 6’2” in height, thin faced, slim build, with

short blonde hair.
