The OohLaaAys are a female acoustic trio from North Devon , they will be putting on a Charity Concert with all proceedings going to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Jess Worth, Alicia Fotheringham and Naomi Bennett are in their 2nd Year of their Foundation Degree in Music Performance at Petroc. They formed the group last year, and have since performed at several gigs together, including playing support act at a Motor Cross Classic Scramble Event.

Performances by Barnstaple Youth Choir, Lampard Community School Choir,
North Devon Junior Guitar Ensemble and dance performances will also take place throughout the evening. The OohLaaAys will take to the stage performing original tracks from their debut EP, followed by a finale in which everyone will come together to sing a special song that was written by the OohLaaAys called “Shine Bright.” which has a message of self-acceptance that is close to their hearts.

The evening is promised to be a filled with lots of entertainment, as well as performances there will also be a raffle, name the teddy bear and Guess The Amount of Magic Stars in the Jar.
Refreshments of Tea, Coffee or Squash are available. There will also be an assortment of homemade cakes to buy, again all proceedings going to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The OohLaaAys wanted to give to a charity in which they knew they’d be making a difference. The Make a Wish Foundation allows children fighting life threating conditions the opportunity to have a once in a lifetime experience, this gives them a positive distraction for such a dark time in their life.

The OohLaaAys have written a 5 track EP ‘Blue Sky Thinking’. They have generously decided all the proceeds from the EP ‘Blue Sky Thinking’ will also go to the charity The Make-A-Wish foundation. This debut EP will include the song “Shine Bright.” That will feature the Barnstaple Youth Choir and Lampard Community School Choir at the Make a Wish Charity Concert.

Make a Wish Charity Concert will take place on Saturday March 1st at Holy Trinity Church, doors open at 6:45pm for a 7pm start. The tickets are available on the door, £4 Adults and £2 Concessions.

The EP will be available online through ReverbNation
