Barnstaple Properties Damaged in Drive By Shooting

Barnstaple police are appealing for witnesses after windows were smashed in two drive by shooting incidents in the town last night.

 

AT around 9pm on Tuesday 26 October in Barnstaple town centre and the Gorwell area four properties

had windows smashed by what Police believe was an air weapon fired from a vehicle.

 

PC Dave Seymour said: “This is a general appeal that if anybody saw

a car or people acting suspiciously last night then we would be keen to

hear from them.

 

“Fortunately nobody was injured but this could well have been the

case and we could now be dealing with a serious injury or worse.”
