North Devon Council have just announced that  "Cattle market car park: Reduction of 10 to 12 spaces at a time during works which will last about a week."

I wonder if anybody else can make any sense of this statement.  Surely once they have finished re-surfacing the 10 to 12 spaces they will have to move on to the next 10 - 12 spaces - what if somebody is already parked there?

By the time they have got all the equipment and workers on site this would probably take up 10 - 12 spaces!

what happens once the piece has been re-surfaced - are they waiting for it to dry before moving on

What about the white lines?

Answers in 10 - 12 spaces please!!

Thank you for your response North Devon Council. This does explain what I thought was an impossible job to achieve.
Although I am sure with proposed budget cuts you will be asked to to lots of impossible things!

    Thanks for the comment.

Our contractors are not resurfacing the whole car park. They have cordoned off sections to resurface and will re-line as part of this work. If they need to move the cordon, this will take place outside of normal business hours where possible.

The cordon may be moved during working hours if the required spaces are available. The works need to be carried out as soon as possible. We have waited until car park usage had reduced after the Christmas period.
