Weather Update from Met Office 4 February 2012 Weekend Forecast 4th and 5th

According to the Met Office there is a risk of rain/sleet/snow today for Barnstaple.

Risk of rain/sleet/snow today. Freezing conditions expected Saturday night with ice taking a hold through to Sunday. Avoid travel unless you have to otherwise drive carefully.

Snow is expected on higher ground in North Devon.

Be prepared for ice on roads Saturday night through to Sunday.

Avoid night travel if possible but if you are driving leave longer for your journey, expect travel disruption, drive carefully according to road conditions and tune in to the radio while driving to hear weather reports.
