Sporty youngsters are being given the chance to represent North Devon in this year's Devon Games to Inspire (DGTI) this Easter.

Over the holidays young people will have the opportunity to try-out for a range of sports including hockey, netball, tennis, volleyball and badminton to gain a place in the annual sporting competition.

Devon Games to Inspire is an Olympic-style tournament, with young people of all ages representing their districts to win medals. In partnership with PETROC, North Devon Council will be entering a team in this year's event, which takes place in Torbay on Sunday 14 July.

All trials take place at PETROC sports hall, apart from golf, which will be held at Portmore Driving Range:

Tuesday 2 April

Badminton (mixed, years 7, 8 and 9) from 9.30am - 11.30am

Tennis (mixed, years 6, 7 and 8) 12pm – 2pm

Volleyball (mixed, years 7 and 8) 2.30pm – 4pm

Wednesday 3 April
