A local craftswoman's homemade gifts aim to reach record sales over this festive season.
Noodle Pie designs was established recently by local woman Sarah Watkins. Sarah provides homemade cushions, bunting, bags, broaches and other hand crafted gifts for local customers. Sales reached a high over the summer period, and hoping to go further this Christmas with more people looking for personalised festive gifts and beautifully made home crafts, all at reasonable, inexpensive prices.
The company; titled after the nick names of her dogs, was created to take Sarah back to her creative roots after finding her last job in administration too dull and unchallenging. Customers are attracted to Noodle Pie products because they are all homemade and therefore unique; making great gifts for all ages.
Noodle Pie's first time at the Devon County show, won them a bronze award for display. This year Sarah is hoping to achieve the gold award.
Currently, Noodle Pie products are sold through some local shops and in the Pannier market. However by appearing at county shows, Noodle Pie is set to make it bigger in Devon and with the launch of the company's website, potentially worldwide.
