Allow Extra Travel Time Drive Carefully and Keep Listening to Weather Reports
They say anyone in these areas should not travel unless they have to and should keep checking local media reports and the Met Office website for updates.
Other areas of Devon should only get a dusting on higher ground so no major disruption according to current forecasts.
But drivers travelling in Devon should allow extra time for travel, drive slowly and keep listening to local radio station updates.
Inspector Andy Oliver from the Exeter Police Control room said: 'Previously we have had problems on the A38/A380 around Haldon Hill near Exeter.
'The Met Office advise although this area may experience a little sleet/snow it is unlikely to be adversely affected.
'At this time the road is completely clear.'
