Roadworks mean road closure

A SECTION of the B3232 between Torrington and Barnstaple has been closed for essential drainage repairs.

The road will be closed from Rooty Cross to Stoneylands Bridge all week to enable a collapsed drain to be replaced. The opportunity will also be taken to carry out additional maintenance, including patching, within the closed section of road. A diversion will be in place from Roundswell roundabout via the A361 Bishops Tawton, A377 Weir Marsh, Umberleigh and B3227 Torrington.

Drivers will be able to access Hunters Inn at Newton Tracey as well as South Down Adventure and Survival Paintball at Huntshaw Cross from the Torrington end of the closure.
