'Potentially harmful' drugs stolen in Barnstaple

Police in Barnstaple have issued a warning after prescription drugs were stolen from a house in the town. The burglary occurred at a home in Belmont Road, just off St George's Road, between 12.30pm and 1 pm on Friday 14 December .The strong painkiller prescription drugs, called Fentanyl, are potentially harmful and are in the form of patches.The police are warning anyone who has knowledge of this burglary, that these drugs are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands and should not be attempted to be used.
