Is PV still value for money?

Despite the latest cut to the feed-in-tariff on 1st November, PV is still offering the same levels of return as it was when the tariff was first set.

The current feed-in tariff rate is 15.44p versus what it was last year at 43.3p - so it has been slashed by more than half - but what people don't know, is that the price to install a system has come down by the same amount - making the return on investment the same!

The price of installing a 4kW system is now between £5,500-£7,500 - whereas before you were looking at spending between £13,000-£15,000.
