Mother's Day is almost upon us and when it comes to ways to treat your mum we are spoilt for choice here in North Devon. Whether you live in Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Bideford or the surrounding areas, here are just a few ideas to help you make Sunday a special day for your mum.
Mother's Day gift ideas:
Emilia Bea has just opened in Gammon Walk in Barnstaple and has some lovely gift ideas for Mother's Day, including gorgeous brooches, scarves, bags and fashion jewellery.
La Maison in Bideford has lots of goodies to give your mum that will certainly make her day. Located on Mill Street in Bideford the store has Cath Kidston bags and Carrie Elspeth Jewellery, new scarves and much, much more.
Ilfracombe Indoor Market is changing all the time and well worth a visit if you're looking for something different. The market now has picture frames, antiques and collectables, oh and Macavity's Little Shop of Cats as well as beautiful handmade cards and gifts for Mother's Day - plus all the regulars.
Alternatively, for those who enjoy making their mother's day gifts, The Big Sheep, near Bideford, is hosting a special cupcake baking day on Saturday 9th March so you have something special (and edible!) to say thank you this year.
The Cupcake gift workshop must be pre-booked, which can be done online at the Big Sheep website. All of the ingredients for half a dozen cupcakes, split between one adult and up to two children, will be supplied during the event. There will also be supervision and instructions to help inspire your cupcakes.
If your mum likes to be pampered, why not join her at the Hartland House & Spa which is offering a luxurious and tranquil afternoon of relaxation for £150 for two people? The price includes four hours at the Spa, an 85 minute treatment each and afternoon tea.
If your mum prefers to be pampered in her own home, then a voucher from Barefoot Nails and Beauty. might just the thing. The vouchers can be printed off here for any amount or treatment. For every voucher purchased you will receive a beautiful and individual hand-made card. We particularly like the aromatherapy massage for just £25. Using blended oils to either relax, revitalise or detox the aromatherapy massage will last approximately 75 minutes. And because it's in the comfort and privacy of your own home you can stay relaxed for longer.
Passion 4 Hair & Beauty Ltd on Holland Walk in Barnstaple are also offering a wide range of excellently-priced vouchers to suit all pockets, including express lashes for £20.00. Click here to see their full range of offers.
