Met Office issues warning of ice and snow for North Devon
By tinap | Monday, January 14, 2013, 12:15
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow for North Devon tonight (Jan 14). It said showers coming from the South East will fall as snow in areas above 200 metres which could see as much as 5 centimetres. More significantly, roads are expected to be icy as the surfaces freeze in the wake of the showers, making for hazardous driving conditions. A yellow warning means people should be aware of the conditions and is in place until 10.00am Tuesday morning (Jan 15).
