FOUR-TRY Jacob Nash was named man of the match as Barnstaple Under-16s won 67-6 at Torrington.
The scrum half set Barum on their way with the opening try and scored the best of the game when he beat five defenders on the left wing and cut in to score under the posts.
Dom Thorne crossed twice and there was one try each for Ethan Paddon, Gareth Sloman, Bob Bendy, Jordan Petherbridge and Theo Seel-Kent.
Petherbridge added six conversions.
Torrington replied with two penalties from Sam Freemantle and some stout tackling, particularly from Dan Barrett and Reece Morgan.
Barnstaple are away to Exeter Saracens in the quarter-finals of the Devon Cup on Sunday (11am).
Bideford Under-9s maintained their unbeaten record this season with a fine 50-25 victory at home to Tiverton.
