Exmoor Zoo has scooped gold at this year's South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

Exmoor Zoo has won gold at this year's South West Tourism Awards
The family zoo at Bratton Fleming, near Barnstaple, took the top prize for Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at a glittering event held at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre took the silver for Tourist Information Service of the year, while The Calvert Trust Exmoor and Westward Living at Duckhaven Stud brought home silver and bronze respectively in the Access to All award. Rock and Rapid Adventures in South Molton were highly commended in the Tourism Activity, Sport and Experience of the year category.
Laura Holt, chair of the Devon Tourism Partnership and Marketing Manager for North Devon & Exmoor said: "Our businesses spend a lot of time investing in giving visitors a five star service and I am sure our winners will go on to greater success at the National Enjoy England Awards for Excellence."
Over 300 entries were considered, with all entrants undergoing a rigorous short-listing process and 164 visited by a team of over 30 mystery shoppers.
