Barnstaple Town Council's Environment Committee will hold a 'Big Bash' in the town's Pannier Market on Sunday 17 June from 11am to 3.00pm
-
The Big Bash will be held at Barnstaple Pannier Market Celebrating the Queens Jubilee and to Round Off the Tidy up our Town' Week
The 'Big Bash' will conclude the weeklong annual 'Tidy Up Our Town' event.
The council is planning the 'Big Bash' to have a similar feel to the recent 'Wellbeing Day' held in the market.
So there will be health, social and environmental stalls promoting a healthy lifestyle.
There will also be a 'Recycled Fashion Show' to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee.
Community groups or youth groups will be making clothing out of recycled materials for this event.
To add to the fun there will be performances from Junk Band, too.
If anyone is interested in supporting or taking part in the 'Big Bash' or creating and modelling some imaginative and fun clothing contact Mrs Kate Graddock
