More snow is expected to fall over Barnstaple later today and tomorrow morning.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow valid until 10.00am tomorrow morning. Around 2-5cm of snow is expected to fall over a wide area, but there could be as much as 10cm in places.

Temperatures will fall on Tuesday evening and night leading to a risk of icy stretches where surfaces have not been treated. Freezing fog patches may also add to travel difficulties. The public are advised to take extra care.
